Gaya Pind Daan Guide

Gaya is considered the holiest place in India to offer Pind Daan for the peace of ancestors. Rituals are performed at the Vishnupad Temple, on the banks of the Phalgu river and at the Akshayavat, guided by traditional Gayawal priests. Lakhs of pilgrims come during Pitru Paksha (September–October), but Pind Daan can be done throughout the year.
